Canon EOS 80D Review: A Versatile and Reliable DSLR Camera with Impressive Autofocus Performance

As a photography enthusiast and videographer, I was eager to test out the Canon EOS 80D camera during my stay at the Kuredu Island Resort & Spa in the Maldives. Design and Handling

The EOS 80D features a polycarbonate body that is both sturdy and durable, with a deep grip that makes it comfortable to hold for extended periods. The camera’s controls are intuitive and user-friendly, with most of the essential buttons and dials located within easy reach.
One of the standout features of the EOS 80D is the vari-angle touchscreen display, which can be tilted and rotated to provide a range of shooting angles. This feature makes it easy to shoot from awkward angles, such as low to the ground or overhead, while still being able to see your shots clearly on the bright and clear display.
The camera also has a built-in optical viewfinder, which provides a clear and bright view of your subject. The viewfinder shows approximately 100% of the frame, and the camera’s autofocus points are clearly visible, making it easy to track moving subjects and keep them in focus.

Performance and Image Quality

The EOS 80D has a 24.2-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor that produces excellent image quality. The camera captures sharp and detailed images with vibrant colors and accurate skin tones. The high-resolution sensor also allows you to crop images without losing too much detail, which is useful for wildlife and sports photography.

The autofocus system is fast and accurate, making it easy to track moving subjects and shoot in low light conditions.
